A weekend for young adults looking to unplug from the complexities of city life.

We want to get out to a place of retreat and into the outdoors to search our busy souls and restore a clear view of the things that really matter.

Start the year off right: reconnect with Christ, reconnect with community.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full…” (Jesus in John 10:10)

Thurs Jan 3 - Sun Jan 6, 2019

*NEW THIS YEAR: Based on last year's feedback we've added an extra day to the beginning of this year's retreat! We truly believe in the value of getting away to seek God together, and encourage all to consider taking the extra day off work/school. If you can't (sad face), we have options - see cost below.

The beautiful Capernwray Québec Conference Centre

Earlybird (ends Nov 11 @midnight): $160

Regular (deadline is Dec 13 @midnight): $200

Earlybird (ends Nov 11 @midnight): $150 (same price as last year)

Limited student sponsorships are available. You may also DONATE to help cover someone else's retreat costs! YAY!

Let's get outside! We'll be located 5 minutes from Mont Calm where we can do outdoor sports* like snow tubing, skiing and snowboarding - fun for everyone, beginners and advanced! And at Capernwray Conference Centre we'll have snowshoeing, tobogganing, board games, and much more!

Why bring in a guest speaker and worship team? First, we want those who are constantly serving in these areas to have a break, to unplug, to be recharged. Second, these guests are some of the greatest, most down-to-earth people around and have been doing what they do for decades! They are coming back for our second UNPLUG Retreat and are excited to help us connect with Christ and each other!

  • Troy & Penny Matchett

My name is Troy, I am the Head Pastor at Grace Church. I should probably put it out there that I am a Habs fan. Ok, now I feel better, please don’t hold that against me. I have an amazing Wife named Penny and two awesome teenagers Alexandria & Noah. They are the most important things in my life. I love God, life, people and french fries. I have a passion to see people come to know God and live out the purpose and plan he has for their lives. We can’t wait to meet you all and see what God will do at UNPLUG this year!

  • Nathaniel & Melody

This dynamic duo are fun-loving worship leaders and disciple-makers, passionate about seeing young people take their place in God's Kingdom, serving others, and saying "YES" to the call of God! Nate is the Worship & Creative Arts Director at Trinity Church, and Melody is the Directrice of Le Réseau at IBQ. They're excited to lead us in worship this weekend, and to show off their ridiculous snowtubing skills!
